    I bought this which is very reasonably priced because I am tired of looking at the more expensive mandolines that require changing blades that look unfriendly to say the least. I want one like I had for over 20 years and you just popped the blade out and popped the other in. So easy. But it went in the fire with everything else. I bought another more expensive one, cut myself trying to change the complicated thing and returned it. This one is simple, but only one cut, but you can vary the thickness. Easy and good at what it does. I'll stick with this until I can find exactly what I want.

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:
    I chose this item for the price point and small foot print. My husband is not a gadget guy so I needed something I could stash in a kitchen drawer. 
    Do I recommend? Sure if you are tired of slicing veggies by hand. I wouldn’t say it’s high quality, the veggies do get caught more than they should in the blade but overall it’s not a deal breaker and it works for what I need it for.

    This is the second one of this mandoline I've owned. The first one lasted for years. This is just a simple compact device. Good for slicing onions at different thicknesses. It fits in a drawer nicely. I haven't tried using it for other vegetables. I think it would do well with cucumbers and potatoes. It's easy to clean.
